Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Journal My Trades("the Service") at journalmytrades.io, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Journal My Trades provides a web-based trading journal, analytics, and AI-assisted review tools. The Service is for educational and analytical purposes only. We do not execute trades, hold funds, or provide brokerage services.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends. Fees are disclosed at checkout. Refunds are handled according to Stripe and our billing policies in effect at the time of purchase. You may cancel via Settings → Billing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate any applicable regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights
• Resell or sublicense the Service without permission

6. Your data

You retain ownership of trade data and content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service — including AI coaching features you enable. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Third-party integrations

Broker and platform connections (e.g., TopstepX, Tradovate) rely on third-party APIs and your credentials. We are not responsible for outages, data delays, or changes to third-party services. CSV imports are your responsibility to export accurately from your broker or platform.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ACCURACY OF IMPORTED DATA, ANALYTICS, OR AI OUTPUT. SEE OUR RISK DISCLAIMER FOR IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS REGARDING TRADING AND AI FEATURES.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOURNAL MY TRADES AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Changes & termination

We may modify these Terms or the Service at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
